THOMAS BOY,
Thomas joined us at the tail end of 1999 by translating Marc Fenechs articles for the Swedish Scene column. Two years later and because of Marcs heavy involvment as promotor Thomas took over in December 2001. We urge all Scandinavian bands to contact him with show dates, gigs and anything can relate to his Scandinavian Scene pages. You'll find his mail and address on the Editorial site.

Claes was the first of us to travel to USA which he did in 1976 with Hans Webeck and met Teddy Redell and Carl Mann among others. In 1979 Erik Larsson traveled to USA with Bertil Jansson, Borje Lundberg and Christer Malmstedt. They made some contacts and met people like Harold Dorman, DJ Fontana and Roy Hall. In 1982 Erik Larsson and Bo traveled to USA for three weeks to gather up material for the coming issues. We started out by renting a car in New York and drove to Memphis via Richmond, Danville, Ashville, Knoxville and Nashville. From there we drove to New Orleans up to Montgomery and back to Mississippi to Meridian via Selma where the car was dropped. We flew back to JFK and Sweden. During trip contact we met with a lot of interesting people like Rocky Burnette, Paul Burlison, Roland Janes, Stan Kelser and other whom we've been friends ever since. Members of our staff have made several trips to USA over the years to collect material and make contacs and in this we have been very succesfull.

Rocky Burnette & Paul Burlison, Roland Janes on guitar with Jerry Lee Lewis and Stan Kesler.

PAUL BURLISON, ROLAND JANES and STAN KESLER were our main key to the Memphis music world and helped out with rare addresses and phonenumbers to the people we wanted to get in touch with. They were always friendly and understanding to our questions. Not to talk about all the pictures and the session information they have supplied us with. These guys will always be something special to us.

Larry Donn, Jerry Woodard and Bobby Mizzell and our Southern gentleman Johnnie Allan.

LARRY DONN has helped us for years especially with articles and pictures about the artists who recorded for the Vaden label out of Trumann, Arkansas. Larry also write for UKs Now Dig This.

BOBBY MIZZELL was the key to Birmingham, Alabama music scene that gave us the Jerry Woodard story and other contacs in Alabama and Los Angeles.

JOHNNIE ALLAN from Lafayette in South Louisiana, has been helping us to make contact with the musicians and record companys from the southern part of Louisiana.

Through the years a lot of contributors have appeared within' our pages, but since the early 80s the main editorial staff has been Bo, Claes and Erik. In 1999 we celebrated 20 years in the rock 'n' roll business with our 80th issue that had a large special feature about Art Rupe and his Specialty Records. We're now heading for another anniversary 100 issues.
